Not just
another
building
firm

Where traditional skills and today’s
technology blend seamlessly

Founded by Steven Ian Reid (S.I.R). in 1978, SIR Specialist Joinery and Contracting started from humble beginnings in rural Aberdeenshire based upon an ethos of hard work and a passion for working with timber to create beautiful things.

This original principle remains to this day but together with success and the steady process of investing back into the business over decades has emerged a firm that stands uniquely positioned to achieve even greater things going forward.

Now employing over 50 staff, including traditionally skilled craftsmen across all areas of construction, as well as experienced quantity surveyors and project managers SIR Specialist Joinery and Contracting is truly a ‘one-stop shop’ for your special project.
